Help with the food. On the day of their move, they would be very busy. Everyone helping would be tired and hungry so it would be a great idea to cook for them, or prepare something for them to eat. That way, food would be one less problem for them. There would be no need for them to run to the store, or dine outside, which could be quite costly. Ask the owner of the house if you can bring the food to the new house, or if they would prefer to drop by your place.

Baby-sit, if there are children. When a lot of furniture are being brought into the house, and people are moving in and out, it could be a little stressful. With small children around, running and wanting to play, or asking for attention, it adds trouble. Accidents could even happen when they are not attended to. You could offer to let the children stay with you. You could let them watch TV, let them play or give them some fun activities, help them when they are hungry, or let them have a nap when they feel tired.

Do some errands for them.
They might need something from the grocery, and if you are already out, offer to buy it for them. There could be some important letters to be mailed, then bring them to the post office or the nearest mail box. If the lady of the house realized that she ran out of liners for the kitchen shelves or drawers, or if they would need some items from the grocery, then do the shopping for her. Of course, the goal is for her to focus on the house, and to lessen unnecessary trips to the store.

Offer help to do some phone calls. The owner of the house could authorize you to do these calls, provided they are not too confidential, or would not require personal information from the owners themselves. There could be calls needed to be done regarding little repairs in the house or some items that have yet to be delivered. Little emergencies could come up, so you may help them look for locksmiths or a plumber and the like.
