Real estate agents and brokers held about 564,000 jobs in 2006. Many worked part time and had other jobs as well. Most real estate agents work in large cities. Many also work in smaller cities that are growing quickly. More houses being bought and sold in such places. I believe the future is great in real estate I read in article that many jobs for real estate agents is expected to grow about as fast as the average for all occupations through the year 2016.
