Because most realtors dont understand what we are trying to do and so its easier for them to laugh at us and when they laugh and you just laugh at them too and walk away. Maybe the realtor didnt take seriously because you have a buyers list and though that didnt guaranteed any business. Just keep on looking and you will find the most prefect realtor to fit in your team.

Most Realtors I know are very easy to deal with. Sometimes buyers come in with unreal expectations. The want a brand new house in great condition for less than $100,000. Just isn't possible.

Agents have great incentive to get the best price for their clients because they want repeat business from referrals. Some of the best agents don't even need to market themselves because they have such a good pipeline of satisfied customers. That is precisely why a prospective buyer should do the homework to find the right referral.

You need to be firm but fair. and it's no use shouting and screaming, it just won't make you any friends.
be polite, but remember that you need the best deal for you. not them

ps this advice works both ways.

very true pellisamoore, i remember reading somewhere that being an estate agent is the second most hated occupation, right behind traffic warden. but they are some good people and the trick is finding one that will genuinely want to help you

I think we just have to accept the fact that we need them. We can't blame them with that because they are very knowledgeable with real estate strategies.

Finding options in Philippines real estate is certainly much easier to do on the web. To do exactly that, check out ManilaEstates.com right now.

Hmmm... not all.

Perhaps you just didn't find the one that's best for you. Keep on looking. I'm sure there are also others who are more pleasant. Each one is different anyway.

Good luck on your realtor search.

The reason of hard to deal with people. Acknowledge the problem, Apologize, Offer to rectify the situation, Ask non-threatening questions, argue.

Some of the realtors are really getting in people's nerves...

But be rest assured that there are lots of competent and friendly realtors. I really don't understand when you said that "fit in your team"? If you are looking for a realtor because you want to recruit them for team sake then probably it'll need a lot of efforts for convincing them because most of them might think that having a team will be sharing of profits in the future. On the other way around, one of the best strategy I've heard so far (not to be bit off topic), is by having a team in order to build a strong and secured foundation.

One of the best way to have a good realtor in your side is by giving them a quick and good presentation. Be sure to remember the number one key to do business is "sell solution" and not sell your-self or your product. Show them you're team can manage to keep up with the better team because business is always won by businessmen. And you have the better businessmen in your side and you are selling to give people aid in their endeavor towards living. Make them believe that having a team in real estate world will not only help them save time and effort but also will make them win a lot of new friends to be trusted.

Cheers! I'm sure I can share some more ideas in the future...  Smiley
